I enjoy working with my team to be solution-oriented. Bringing value to agents is very important to me, whether that is providing them with an answer they want to hear and even with an answer they do not want to hear. The goal is for our agents to think of us as a solutions-oriented team that is easy to deal with.

About Stephen

I was born in San Antonio, Texas and raised in Dallas. I graduated from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi where I majored in marketing and management information systems. I have been in the insurance industry for over 20 years in the small commercial segment which I really enjoy, and I have spent most of that time as a marketing/regional sales representative.

What is your favorite animal?

My favorite animal is man’s best friend, the dog. Specifically, my dogs. We have a 15-year-old labradoodle named Macy and 3-year-old bernedoodle named Frankie. Macy is my comfort dog – no matter the day, no matter the time she is always at my feet. Frankie is my active dog – no matter the time or day she is always ready to go for a run, walk or hike. They are the perfect balance.

Are you a night owl or a morning person?

Both. I like to stay up late and get up early. I try to get as much out of my days as possible!

Are you a night owl or a morning person? If you were stranded on a desert island, what would you bring?

I would bring a radio that never needs batteries or a charge – with Spotify for music, podcasts and audiobooks – plus a cellphone and hotspot for internet. I wouldn’t want to forget an endless supply of drinking water, my favorite tequila and SPF50 sunblock. And a comfortable beach chair!
