Heather Boyer becomes the 11th president in our company’s history.

In its first 15 years, the Society Insurance Charitable Fund distributes more than $1.1 million to non-profits in Society’s communities.

We change our name from Threshermen’s Mutual Insurance Company to Society Insurance.

The company moves to our new building on Camelot Drive in Fond du Lac, WI.
1987
Threshermen’s Mutual Insurance Company becomes a workers compensation assigned risk carrier for the state of Wisconsin.

The addition of commercial property and casualty insurance helps drive our gross written premium to over $10 million.
1975
We diversify to include commercial property and casualty insurance.
1967
John T. Boyle serves as our general manager until 1974 when he becomes president, a post he holds until 1987.
1946
We change our name to Threshermen’s Mutual Insurance Company, or TMICO for short.
1930
Our growth continues with the purchase of Threshermen’s National Insurance Company of Madison, WI.
1918
Company operations move from Madison, WI to a home on Main St. in Fond du Lac, WI.
1916
Insurance premiums in the first full year totaled $12,215.33.
1915
On June 8, 1915, the Wisconsin Brotherhood of Threshermen Insurance Company, Limited Mutual is founded in Madison, WI.
